Maasai Warriors

Maasai men are first and foremost warriors and protectors of their community, families, and lands. The "Adumu", often called the “jumping dance,” is a highly recognizable dance that is only a portion of the Eunoto, the ceremony in which junior warriors, or moraine, graduate to the ranks of manhood or full fledge warriors. Originally from the Sudan, and now residing in Tanzania and Kenya, they normally wear the colors red and blue and can jump sometimes over 30 inches high. The higher the jump represents the stronger the warrior.
